Now for disclosures…

I am a doctoral researcher at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in the School of Media and Communication. My research is on ethical farming practices in Victoria.

I am a foodie and I love anything to do with food. In my former life, I used to be a Food Editor/Writer for various publications. I am also a certified scuba instructor and fitness trainer; occasionally my postings may reflect my interest in these areas. I also write sporadic articles for other publications on the subject of health/fitness and food/cooking.

I write because I enjoy writing. It is my way of sharing my knowledge and ideas on subjects and issues I am passionate about. I am also an avid reader and I draw a lot of inspiration from the written words. If I post a review of a book I have read, it is because I believe in sharing the love. I don’t get paid to review them.

And disclaimer – we live in a litigious world …..

All recipes are used at the risk of the reader. I cannot be responsible for any hazards, loss or damage that may occur as a result of any recipe use. For those with special needs, allergies, requirements or health problems (you know who you are), in the event of any doubt, please contact your medical adviser prior to the use of any recipe. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks for visiting and please come back. And if you like the site, spread the word, share the love.
