This blog is two years old. I don’t believe in new year resolution and have never made one in my life but if I were to have one it would be to blog more regularly. For those who have been following this blog, thank you for you support and looking forward to the journey in 2012.
2011 was a hectic year.
In summary we moved out of our St Kilda apartment in July to a 650 sq. m. free standing weatherboard house in Coburg North. It was a blank canvass and we rebuilt our vegetable patch, plus a chicken run. This is what we did: enjoy the before and after photos.

The old chicken run next to the apple tree

Rebuilding of the run: re-stumping and raising it so we can stand inside the run.

Chicken run as it is today

An extension to the run is a covered and paved area for storage.

The backyard looking south - an empty canvass in July 2011.

Monster zucchini - 1.160kg.
