Our first harvest was on November 27th and it was only 470grams of silver beets. To date, we have harvested well over 25Kg of fresh produce (not including eggs). Most prolific are runner brand, potatoes, silver beets and salad greens. We are starting to get zucchinis and daikon radishes followed by tomatoes.
At the moment we have silverbeets coming out of our ears. Ours are the Fordhook Giant variety that grows to about 60cm tall and each mature leaf on average weighs about 100 grams.
